Yeah dear ones! We are thrilled to show you our self-created and planned wedding shoot at the Hotel Fernblick. To be honest, we are really a little bit proud of it. Not only because a few pictures had been published for inspiration in the Rock n Roll Bride magazine, but mostly because we planned and realized this wedding in our high season. We can’t tell you how the planning brought us to the edge of our stress level sometimes, haha. It is unbelievable what time and nerve it takes to plan a wedding, when you have so much to do on the side and also have a child with whom you want to spend valuable time. Hats off to all bridal couples who plan their wedding in great detail, from the invitation to the thank you card, all on their own. Whether you want to plan your wedding yourself or not is up to you. However, do not neglect the possibility of engaging a wedding planner. You can easily hand in elaborate organizations and all your wishes will be implemented for you without any stress. We were so thankful for our two wedding planners Janine and Claudia. Without these two we would never have been able to get this shoot together as wished. And here, too, a big compliment to the entire team, who all tackled and participated so incredibly hard. By the way, below you will find the links to the entire team. Be sure to drop by all the lovelies!
How did the shoot actually come about? When we found out that this extraordinary location called ‘Fernblick’ will open in Austria, we could not hold back and met the creators of this stunning place. In their preliminary exhibition space, they showed us funky wallpapers, leopard carpet patterns, as well as ingenious home accessories and their great jukebox. An “old lady” from the 1950s … Gosh, we were sooo inspired to organize a styled shoot there. For a long time, we have been dreaming of colorful and unusual decorative elements, brightly colored green plants, pampas grass, disco vibes, sparkles, glitter and a couple whose style is reflected in the entire wedding decoration. By the way couple: It was particularly important to us that the couple was a real couple – because it is important to us to capture people in the most authentic and personal way. And the two were just perfect in their way. Most of all we love Cecilia & Mathias’ many real laughs and emotions, their naturalness, but also their coolness. We had a lot of fun together.
And why did we want to do such a shoot? We love unconventional weddings that are determined by their personality and love. People who go through life with all their hearts, free spirits and bohemians who follow their own way. Lovers who stay the way they are on their big day and don’t care about meeting other people’s expectations. And by the way, we love vintage furniture from the 50s to 70s and the ‘Fernblick’ with its charm reminds us of the past.
