Vroni and Alex’s wedding was like a relaxed summer pool party and that was exactly what they wanted for their big day – a relaxed and exciting day for everyone. Another reason why they chose the ‘Alte Schule’ in Ferlach as their location.
A place full of joie de vivre, where the focus is on well-being. Soul and spirit dangle here and time seems to stand still. The guests were welcomed with an aperitif on the veranda and the subsequent cordial ceremony took place in the garden, the centrepiece of this summer day. The afternoon was a joyful get-together and the spacious pool obviously invited many guests to swim. While all guests enjoyed the summer day in a relaxed atmosphere, we drove with the two of them to a nearby river for their couple photos, which Vroni and Alex had known from their childhood. There, too, the two remained true to their boisterous “motto of the day”. In their frenzy of joy, they took off their shoes, climbed into the ice-cold water and started splashing themselves. Wuhu, the two were so incredible. Completely unconcerned about what their clothes would look like afterwards, they said: “Yeah, it’s our wedding day. We want pictures of ourselves as we drop and have fun! We only celebrate once, we don’t care about our clothes, we can wash them.”
There are those special moments when you stop thinking. That’s exactly what we love about our couples. When they no longer notice that we are here, completely let themselves fall and simply stay as they are, then everything is in flow. In Vronis and Alex ‘case in the truest sense of the word.
