The two life people Lisa and Phillip (nickname Fumi) celebrated their wedding with about 120 guests in the Kropfitschbad. Most of their wedding guests came from Italy, Vienna and the UK and saw our beautiful Carinthia and our great Wörthersee for the first time.
Get-together at Bistro 151er in Klagenfurt
Due to the sometimes-further arrival of many guests, there was a get-together or welcome dinner in the brilliant Bistro 151er in Klagenfurt on Friday. The evening before was therefore perfect for greeting their guests in the evening and chatting with everyone. Incidentally, the great thing about a get-together is also that the guests can already get to know each other, and the anticipation of the wedding increases for everyone. A great start for a wedding, we think.
Getting Ready at Villa Riva in Pörtschach
In the “Hotel zum goldenen Löwen” or “Villa Riva” in Pörtschach, which is located directly on Lake Wörthersee, the Getting Ready started on Saturday afternoon. When we arrived, Lisa had already been styled by the make-up artist. We only caught the last touch-up for their wedding photos and wedding video. Lisa wasn’t that nervous yet, but we could clearly feel her dad’s nervousness. It’s always so touching to see fathers on the verge of tears when their daughters get married.

In the meantime, Phillip has already been at the Kropfitschad in Krumpendorf and received the wedding guests. After Lisa put on her wedding dress and her shoes, Clark also made his way from Pörtschach to Krumpendorf to record the guest reception as well. As usual, Kaya stayed with the bride and accompanied Lisa, her dad and her maids of honor on a Wörthersee boat trip towards Kropfitschbad. Slowly but surely, Lisa was getting more and more nervous, but her dad was able to “distract” her a bit with a few jokes in between.
Arrival at Kropfitschbad
When Phillip spotted the boat with Lisa from the shore, he couldn’t contain his emotions and tears of joy almost burst from his eyes.
After the emotional handover of the bride and soulful oath of loyalty, the agape and congratulations went straight to the point. An ingenious duo of musicians from Hamburg provided the musical entertainment. The two of them went so full throttle musically that some of the guests couldn’t help but dance along so loudly that the boats on the moorings literally wobbled along. The tables and chairs became grandstands and there was hardly a guest who didn’t dance along.
Couple session on the shore of Lake Wörthersee
After the first round of dancing, Lisa and Phillip didn’t want to stay away from their guests for long. So, we quickly took the boat over to the neighboring house Villa Vogelberg to capture a few couple photos and video sequences for around 15 minutes. We were able to capture the two lovers in pictures right on the shore of Lake Wörthersee and in the cute boathouse.
Back at the Kropfitschbad, the two were received singing and dancing by their guests and the musician duo. Another ingenious dance and song orgy took place. We, Kaya & Clark, really have to admit that at the time we had to pull ourselves together not to join in the dancing and shouting. You can’t imagine how difficult that was for us at that moment, haha.
Guest portraits on the footbridge of the Kropfitschbad
After a short breather, all guests went to the meadow to take a group picture. After the picture was in the can, we took the smaller family and group portraits on the jetty of the Kropfitschbad. And before all the wedding guests were spoiled with culinary delights, there was the bridal bouquet toss and the garter toss. Then it was time to come down and enjoy the delicacies. After the many delicious courses, there was still the wedding cake for dessert for everyone. According to the popular tradition, Lisa and Fumi cut their cake together and with just one knife.
First dance and party
The first dance is also a fixed ritual at many weddings and the two newlyweds did not miss this one either. After all, the first dance is the starting signal for an unforgettable party. And we hardly need to tell you how much the bridal couple and all their guests loved it here. We’ve already said enough, so it’s best to take a picture for yourself, because it’s well known that a picture says more than a thousand words anyway.
